Human Diaspora is a dark trip hop duo formed by me, Mariah Peixoto, and Tiago Resende (aka Xorão).  After being introduced in 2021 by a common friend, we have been working on creating this project, recording and preparing our first album (to be released in 2024).

Both of us are singers and composers, and you can hear the contrast of our voices through the tracks, creating different atmospheres that flow between fragility and strength.

Our main influences come from the 90's, including bands such as: Massive Attack, Sneaker Pimps, Nine Inch Nails, Sevdaliza, Portishead, Deftones, Vowws and Silverchair. Working with this mixture, we have been creating tracks that are mostly obscure, mysterious and lustful.
